Relationships in ATS

Bonds were forged deeply within the skin, leaving lasting marks and signs everywhere. Brotherhood was established in dark, sacred places, while sisterhoods were created on the harvest and thresholding floors. It is said that the bonds formed among Africans transcended time; they provided the courage men needed to protect their borders and gave women the strength to ensure there was always enough for those who were starving. African relationships are profound, intricate, binding, and sometimes scary. In this topic, we will share stories about how these relationships were built and sustained in the ATS.
